![]() Our congregation is sub 100 in attendance with a good portion being above 40 years old. I believe there's a way to do big church productions that is not distracting and does not take away our focus to who we're really gathering for. But, we do have to consider the appropriateness of things when putting together a program for a church service, specially for something like a weekly Sunday service. I'm not saying it's wrong to do big church productions. There's no audio that counts down like those in concerts - Five, Four, THREE, TWO, ONE!!!! "SHOT THROUGH THE HEART! AND YOUR TO BLAME." The worship team also doesn't do the concert thing where the band would build up with the counter. But for most of the year, it's just plain. If the media team is feeling creative, they'll throw in a static background or a looping video background that fits/marks the season or holiday. Sometimes it's a projected wall clock, sometimes it's digits. Note that your participation in this community is not dependent on affirming these or other creeds.
